php and search engine ratings

I am wondering if phpnuke is a good solution for a large information website which has very lengthy content (approx 100k per page).

I would utilize some php such as a forum, user login, top story, who is online, and site search.

The site already has excellent search engine ratings on popular search engines. Can reconstructing the site with php or phpnuke adversly affect the search engine ratings?... Or, is it possible that it could be a plus?

So, the first question is...if php is a good solution. Secondly, is if search engine ratings can become even better with using php rather than html.

php in itself will not be of influence to your search engine ratings unless the information it offers changes. if you want to have a site that is easily administered then php is a good solution.

as for phpNuke, the opinions you will hear on this will vary greatly. phpNuke has a name to contain a lot of security bugs making it less reliable than some other php-based portal systems such as XoopS and postNuke.
