[php error] parse error | fatal error

Alrighty, before you even ask, yes I did do some research on parse errors and fatal errors on google, however, i dont have too much time so i briskly swept through them..

After a google search, I did look at http://forums.devarticles.com/t5932/s.html and noticed that someone else had the same error.

However, I did what they suggested there and I still got the error.

I need this to be fixed.

btw, this error occurred after I updated apache with mcrypt and recompiled apache

For some reason, i have a feeling that it may have come from mcrypt install. Know how I can kill mcrypt?

Also, I have lots of clients that have php coding that gets the same error as well.

Well you haven't given enough information, all your examples of this error are totally irrelevant as this error could be anything. We'd need to see the code in Smarty.class.php at around lines 450-470 and in htmlMimeMail.php at around lines 660-680.
