How would I create a drop down menu using PHP, and then how would I customize the menu? Ex. the background for the drop down menu is black, and the links are an orangish color. How would I make the drop down menu automatically pop down rather than the user having to click it as well? I am a newbie to this but would like to learn how. Thank you in advance. . . One more thing would I be able to have images be the background for the menu, or could I insert some images into the menu and have the images be the links?

Automatically drop down? Images in a drop down? These aren't tasks for PHP, more for DHTML. Not sure images (other than background) are even possible in a drop down menu... unless you use flash.
