WYSIWYG - Backend>>

Hi guys.

Basically what I need to know is how to create a WYSIWYG area on a backend.

Basically I am just creating a simple 'news' section on a website, with a backend to create and edit news stories on the site etc...

I can do all the PHP & MySQL stuff....but I have just realised that I have never worked with a WYSIWYG editor in a backend??

I will basically want it to be like the one on this forum, so people with little coding experience can make things bold, make links, add images etc....

Cheers
David

Look into TinyMCE or FCKEditor or Nice Editor.

There is also Fusion News. It allows you to create users, and gives you quite a few options as to how you display your news items, such as headlines only, short description, full story. It also has which user posted the item, the date and time, and a pop-up comment box for viewers to comment in.
It uses it's own WYSIWYG editor, and is easy to understand. Check it out!

Fusion News

I'm sure it will be more than what you are interested in.
