Spin Remote CMS :/

Hi guys,

Im creating a cms system that can change elements on a different/remote site (which I have access to of course)
The system needs to connect with the site and:
- Get information about the changing elements
- Able to add/edit/delete records
- Upload images

Im in need of some ideas to authenticate the cms with the site and edit some of the element information + being secure.
The cms doesnt edit the pages them selfs... it just does gives add/edit/delete functions for the db records.

Any ideas and/or questions ?

Thanks!
Lex

I think most open source CMSs should meet those requirements.

I like eZ publish (eZ Publish - Open Source Enterprise Content Management System (CMS) for web content management solutions). In one download you get just about everything you need.

Other people favor Drupal and Joomla - but - you have to assemble the system out of community contributed code. To me - that's more work and has a serious risk of version conflicts and variable quality.

Check out The CMS Matrix - cmsmatrix.org - The Content Management Comparison Tool and OpenSourceCMS - Try Open Source Demos.

Good luck!
