Dear folks:

I seek solution to read 'weblink information' linked with a text in a column of a excel spreadsheet and the ' weblink' is pointing to a location of a 'pdf file' corresponding to that entry in the excel spreadsheet. Say for an example, the entry in the excel file is a title of an article and the title is linked with its corresponding article’s soft copy in pdf format located in a folder.

I have such an entries in a excel file and the total entry counts more than 1000. So I would like to upload the information of the title of the article as well as the linked 'pdf file' in a single shot using a php script to Mysql database.

I tried in many free php resources but I could not find an appropriate php script for this. I ask this community to give me a pointer to get that sort of script if you had seen it anywhere or else a contribution of php code will be more helpful.

I'd export the Excel file to a CSV format, parse it, and extract the data.
