For the past few weeks, I have been investigating and doing a lot of research on the online job board market. I personally believe that each site can have a job board targetting a specific audience of job seekers and employers. You will find a lot of employment scripts in our directory, but the more simple a script is, the more easier it is for you to customize and integrate with your site. I use Jamit Jobs Board on a couple of sites. I'm not overly happy with it, but it works. It's a bear to modify, however.

I use Jobberbase (jobberBase - The Open Source Job Board Software) - much older and has much more features than Joobsbox.

and it has a WYIWYG editor. It's just fine for what I need.

This is some stock code that's been made available for resale and modification under about a dozen different names. I looked at it (several versions, actually) and decided it wasn't suitable for my application. It's also written in a way that makes it a little hairy to modify properly. And if I recall correctly, there was virtually no screening of the data that was submitted, making it a security concern for me.
