execute command line

hi

can we execute dos prompt (command line) with PHP. if it is please let me know how to do it

i did not do this type of prog. if anyone knows how to do it plz,plz,plz help me out.i need it ver badly

I'm thinking that could get ugly at best... PHP would have to be installed on a Windows server... just curious what you're trying to do that can't be worked out with PHP itself?
