Thanks, so I guess were at a stopping point. I really appreciate all the time you put into this research. I just can't understand why I can make additions of new images into the xml but the other stuff is a problem. So you don't think it's a java scrip problem or something in the php?

I just noticed that the gallery xml is the only one at the top that has
encoding="utf-8"?
I made some changes in the"About" area and it stayed after I refreshed many times and it's doesn't have encoding="utf-8"? at the top? I tried deleting it in the gallery xml but you guessed it , it came back after refresh.

It's running buildGallery and buildMusic on every load of the page, which is probably not necessary - you could just run them when you add images or music.

The about text is still Flash.

xml/musicPlayer/config.xml, xml/menu/config.xml, xml/galleryMenu/config.xml are throwing an error under FireBug - same issue with content ahead of the <?xml tag.

You may find more information in the error logs, if you can get to them.

The site works in that it allows people to see your work, it looks great (really), and the images posted are excellent.

Let the site run and work on it more as you have time.

I have a site that I invested a tremendous amount of time in, running an enterprise level software application, that still posts errors into its error log, every day. The site looks okay, it does what it needs to do, and I don't have time to pursue the errors.

Point taken, thanks for the compliments, do you mean the error log's in flash? Is FireBug a mac utility also? Could the content ahead of the xml tag be in the flash action script when it references that xml like a comment//?

Server error logs (/etc/httpd/logs/access_log and /etc/httpd/logs/error_log).

If you have Firefox, you might be able to get Firebug for the Mac.

I'm not sure of the answer to this:
