Exclamation Adding Scripts to a Script??

Hi guys,
I am sort of a noob to all of this web design stuff but i know enough. What i have done is i have created a free web hosting account and am going to eventually get a domain name.

What i have done is,
i have uploaded a script similar to something like phpbb but an auction site. Sort of like ebay. If you read my welcome message you will understand.

Now i want to add a script that allows the user of my site to talk to me through live chat. Is it possible to do that using a premade script. I also wanto to add others but that is one of the main ones and if i find out how to do that i might be able to do all the others by myself.

So please if you know the answer please reply. I want to get this website going as soon as possible

cheers

It is possible.

You can either integrate it into the existing auction scripts, but this is going to be a rather difficult task unless you know exactly how the entire auction script is written, or exactly what you need to alter to make it work. If you would like this, you will have to hire a programmer because no one is going to do it for free. You'll also have to ask for permission to alter the auction script (or check the license that came with the package).

The easiest solution is to make the scripts run next to each other. They both have their own configuration, their own database tables, own user system, etc. This of course doesn't look that nice on your site, and people will find your site amateurishly. However, it's free, you won't have to pay a dime to make it work

Ok thanks for the reply.
So what your basically saying is i am better off either rebuilding the auction script and sort of merge the two scripts. I can get a guy that would probably do it for free. Or i can keep attempting to learn php and do it all myself

again thanks for the reply.

Yep, those are pretty much all the solutions
