Hello,

I am sorry if this is not the correct place to post this, but I am new to this forum and getting used to it.

I am looking for a simple php/mysql script that will enable users to register to a secure area where they can view-edit their profile and a list of files to download. As an admin, I can upload files, and enable the files I choose to be downloadable to a registered user.

Here is an example:

User Joe registers and I (admin) gets an e-mail notifying me that Joe has registered.

I (admin) log into my own admin area and upload a file and/or select a previously uploaded file to appear on Joe's user area, where he can download it at will. As an admin, I should also be able to edit or delete Joe's profile, and can add/delete files for him to download.

That's it. I know I've seen it, but for he life of me, I cannot find it. I searched under file managers, user management, and other phrases to no avail.

If you have a suggestion of an exciting script, or a way to search for it, I'd love to hear.

Thanks alxkls, but I realize that this script could be created from scratch. My questions is whether anyone knows if one ALREADY exists out there because I have seen it before. And since HotScripts is a depository of scripts (both commercial and otherwise), I though this would be an appropriate place to ask about created scripts.
