Notepad centric

Approximate order of usage
  • Notepad++ Way cool! Amazing. Making wizards obsolete.
  • ActiveState Perl -for Windows. Thank you ActiveState.
  • Java Wireless Toolkit - test apps only.
  • Java - AWT, J2EE, Swing. Several versions. Love to hate it.
  • Apache2.2 - indispensable.
  • irfanView - quick batch processing.
  • GIMP instead of PhotoShop.
  • Audacity mp3, ogg, wav, au with remarkable filters.
  • Android - Installed Eclipse, but find command line more versatile.
  • Ant- previously with Java. Now using with Android.
  • PHP less and less. More and more Perl.
  • ImageMagick- always trying to find time to use it more.
  • MySQL (finally got the Perl module from uwinnipeg to work on XP. Nice.)
  • FreeBSD For a little self abuse and to test networking, security, hosting.
  • OpenBSD - same. Also a bullet proof server.
For video

For fun

lcc-win32 for fun and drivers.
