UK TV Licence
For all those in the UK and feel strongly (like I do) about the TV Licence mandatory subscription;
Sign the petition at this address;
http://www.onebillionpageviews.org/index.html
(warning for younger views - video on this page has bad language)
Thanks
Dal

Television here in the US is so awful that they'd practically have to pay me to watch it. Seriously, it's just terrible, boring, repetitive crap.
They're spending billions on upgrading the national system here to HDTV even though no one really gives a damn. The money could be spent on roads, feeding the hungry, providing medical care or housing, improving schools, etc etc etc....but no, it's more important that viewers can see Paris Hilton's latest hairstyle clearly.
The "upgrade" takes effect in February. This "upgrade" is not only forced, but it makes the 350 million+ existing TVs obsolete. And that's just what everyone in the US needs to do right now- run out and buy a new TV. What a bunch of wankers.

 lol
I think it may be all about Government Propaganda, how else would they spread the bull**it if they didn't condem you to watch.
Here's me thinking that there's a problem just here in the UK - seems that this is an international scam - POWER TO THE PEOPLE
Thanks End

Haha, same here. I don't ever watch TV.
I download quite a lot of movies, though. That's all I care about, as long as I can do it for free.

The last time I watched TV was in February, but I didn't inhale.
I watched Obama's presidential election night speech on Nov 4th, but that wasn't TV- that was history.
