Because it's cheap. We're exploiting you because you'll work for $5/hour where it would cost a company $50-$100/hour plus benefits to do it in the US. It's a nobrainer. Eventually, you'll want equal pay for equal work and benefits, and then you'll see the jobs disappear too. It's a vicious cycle and no one wins.
The only silver lining is that the new generation of technology enabled youth in the US is more open to international cooperation than our ancient current leaders (most over the age of 50) that we have today. I know it's stupid to ask, but instead of taking sides, we need to find ways to remove the barriers all together. Who cares what country your from. You need us as much as we need you and instead of getting upset because jobs are heaving overseas, we need to find ways to evolve together, or some of us are going to get left behind.
