The last version control software I used was on a DEC. I think it involved 8" disks.

I use it because that's what my employer uses.

The new version is integrated with ClearQuest - which must be pretty cool.

Me too!

Actually, ClearCase would be about my last choice if it weren't what my employer uses.

But I have written a whole bunch of bash shell scripts (that I use with Cygwin) that allow me to work in an arbitrary sandbox on my local disk but check in and out of a ClearCase dynamic view and check history and cat a file directly from the vob, etc.
