CuteFTP is still the best, but it's payware. Luckily I will soon have my linux system up and running so I can use proFTP which I like even more

Though nontechie I am using Cuteftp for years. Everytime i try a new one, i end up going back to Cute.

Filezilla is best.
I found filezilla is best. Reason is simple! free and powerfull.

My vote goes to WS_FTP. It offers secure connections for data by applying encryption as a feature. It uses SSH to encrypt the FTP session and prevent my login info from being sniffed as plain text.
