I want to be able to offer a blog hosting service to members of my community in a similar way to how things are done at blogspot and blogger.

so does anyone know of any scripts out there that allow this.

I have used it for a while but am looking for something that gives users more freedom to change their weblog skins.
Would be nice if someone could guide me if there is anything like blog*spot ready to use. Am ready to pay for it

the http://boastology.com looks interesting.

So a host version will allow me to create a domain and then let people have their own blog off my domain eg: www.mydomain.com and then someone can signup for an account and have it as www.mydomain.com/theirblog

Will the host version come with templates? Will it be open source? Free or paid for?

What I am looking for is something that can be similar to a blogger or a blogspot.

agreed, where is the service to allow people to have their own blogs?

And if this is not on offer, does anyone know of a free/low cost/open source solution to offering people their own blogs in a similar way to how Blogger does it?
