I am looking for something, preferrably in flash, that will allow me to display a "portfolio" or "showcase" of images of work that I have done. Something that will not only show a picture, but a text description and allow for a link too.

It doesn't HAVE to be in flash, but I think it would look nicer. Any idea????

I have been searching like a madman - I just can't seem to find anything that will do for what I am looking for. If you do a search on portfolio or portfolio script you get every kind of response with people who have their own portfolio, but nothing that can be used to create your own.

I thought about it, but can't seem to find one that is simple enough that allows a description and link with a thumbnail and image. I looked at many gallery scripts, but they all look too much like galleries, and not portfolios or workfolios. For instance, they have places for people to comment on the pics, and I don't need that.

If you had any knowledge of PHP or ASP or whatever language your looking for, you coiuld easily just edit it so it doesnt display comments.

Search for flash gallery and there are some links on Hotscripts or why not try making your own flash one. I used Swish a couple of years agao and in 1/2hr I had a basic "animation?". This was before they made it a lot more compliceted to use !

Image galleries like 4images can be so easily tweaked to work out as a portfolio. As a far as removing the extra features like comments, you can just disable it from the admin control panel.
