Script for Tracking Software/Hardware

I'm currently looking for a script to assist ou IT/MIS department in tracking of assets in regards to hardware and software. For instance add a machine with this serial key for windows, this key for office etc. Be able to add numerous single titles of VLM keys and add users who can access it.

Also it would be nice to find a simple script that could be used to track support issues but not a trouble ticket.

I.e. store #20115 calls in and has a problem, I can logg problem as well as desired fields such as contact, store #, store owner etc.

Any suggestions on either would be nice.
