Hi there!

I've been searching for days to try and find a script that well let me key in a URL to a file like http://www.domain.com/file.exe and have it downloaded to the directory the script was in on my server.

There was one Perl program that did this for me, Genesis, but that times out on my new server! File Manager (an ASP.NET) script doesn't work as my server isn't ASP.NET!

Does anyone know of a simple PHP, ASP, CGI or Perl script that can do this for me or if they're very kind - write a simple one. Doesn't have to be fancy, just has to do the job

ps: Need one for large files upto like 80 MB!!: )

I have such a script written in ASP running on www.efusian.co.uk, the system also requires a user accepts a lcience agrrement which can be easily changed.

I am will to supply and guide through installation of such a script for a donation of $2.50, the script isn't a usual script I distribute and was developed by efusian.co.uk

I know this is long form now but i too an looking for the exact same thing, i only know or the rapidleech script but for me that one stops downloading the file after a certain time i guess its the same time out problem.

Anyways i'm looking for any script on any platform that has this feature to download the file directly to the server.
