Recently I put up a member authentication script for my website. In about 2 days I had 127 members, then for some reason it stopped allowing members to sign up. I re-installed the script and it did the exact same thing at 127. Im not sure if it was a problem with the mySQL or what, but since the scripts been down certain areas of my site arent accessible and my hits have dropped dramatically.

Ive already tried many different scripts and hardly any are what im looking for. I just need something very simple, that can be customised for the look and feel of my site. It only needs to be able to log a username and a password, chosen by the user, preferably into a database. Im looking to resrict access to only 1 or 2 pages which have been sucking down bandwidth and only allow members to access them.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
