Hiya i currently have a news script on my site called znews but this is not doing what i want, iam looking for a script that will allow me to set a carecter cut off point so that it dosent post the entire of the news article on the home page, the user can then click a 'more' button where they will be taken to the rest of the article.

If anyone knows of one of the se please let me know thanks

I've always used a script called k2news.
It has a great administration panel, has a cutoff, and allows you to create users etc.

Thanks, Free solutions are the best for sure, but not always.

Well, actually nothing is impossible and the cnn.com could be done with notepad as well
but
please, if you complain, then say true and be honest - that with CutePHP, you need advanced PHP+HTML skills in order to make something like what PHPCow offers in demos. And for PHPCow there is no PHP and HTML knowledge is required at all. That is the main difference between softwares and actually for different products in any market.
