This script should be somewhere, but not that I can find. I am tired of downloading scripts, looking them over, and checking them out. I am hoping someone here has some advise.
Here is ALL I need the script to do. No problem witha more "complicated" script as long as it can do what I need. Maybe it is just too simple...
This is for a list of Sponsors on the right hand of the webpage (rightcolumn.php). Each sponsor has a small banner (100x35) and their name under it. Some sponsors only have text though, although only temporary until they get their banner act together.
All I need is a script that will record impressions (preferably unique since the page loads on every page and impressions will be rediculous if all impressoins recorded), clicks, and provide access by sponsor to view their individual stats.
I need the banners rotated/scrambled/etc daily or weekly. This is where my big problem comes in. Since all "banners" are being shown on the same pages all the time, simple rotation would cause a problem with same page banner repeats, etc.
I know I can "hard-code" the banners in there using a bunfch of different scripts, but then I would have to manually rotate them every day or week.
In summary then, a script that will randomly distribute 20-30 banners on a page once a day or once a week. i.e., simply change their order.
If price is reasonable, would consider paying someone to modify an existing proggy.
