This realy sux - wrote my entire explanation, clicked on submit and vbb said I wasn't logged in and so the entire message was lost .. GRRRRR
So here we go again...
See my Introduction into Intro forum.
I am looking for a php programmer to develop a custom php email-form script. This is a paying job so please, serious enquiries only.
I will explain basically what the script has to do...
Visitor filled out a form (there may be several). There will be an input field as State. Script must access a mysql database (one being vbb), search for matches with State, and then dispatch the email (formmail) to all State matches with a copy to a stagnant email address (like admin). The script must also put all form data into its own database and that database must be searchable.
Must be able to handle multiple forms, use different email templates depending on form used, have a simple administrative panel for searching and viewing stats, etc. Viables can be changed within code (no need to waste time having thsi in an admin panel).
This should be prety simple and straightforward.
Let me explain its use and that should help you understand what it has to do and why.
A national company has a website for consumers. On the backend is an area that we took vbb and raped it/murdered it/butchered it and turned it into a dealer area. So, the vbb database ONLY contains dealers that must be manually entered through the admin panel (all registration stuff was ripped out).
When a consumer requests information from the company, they get the email and have to send it to their dealer(s) in the respective state. They want to automate that. BUT, they also want to keep control and know what is going on. That is the purpose of the email also being sent to a stagnant address (corporate headq) and the data being entered into a database to view simple stats. They also probbaly want to spam the database too.
Anyone interested in this project and possibly others on a pay-per-job basis, please contact me. I am sure you will have questions.
Thanx in advance
