Hi everyone,

Hopefully I'll find someone with a good idea. I've been spending the whole day looking for a (preferably) php script that could be used as a collectible item identification guide. Please bear with me when I tell you what the item is. I'm a Barbie collector, and I wish to make a web page as an identifying guide for other collectors. How ever, I don't have vast enough collection to photograph every possible Barbie ever made, so I need help from others, in other words, it has to be a multi user script. One item needs several pictures, I could use a picture gallery script (Coppermine best so far) but posting detail images of a doll gets confusing if they're spread out as images.

In order to make the guide as accurate as possible, we would need a commenting system, that people can post notes like: "Note that this doll doesn't have bending legs. Instead of 'blonde' she is actually strawberry blonde." and stuff like that.

Basicly what I would need is shopping catalog without shopping and with commenting system or date service without contacting options and user name for each doll, or content management system with a lot less options. (Most of the collectors are really non-technic 25-60 year old females, who need to be able to understand what they're doing. They're skilled enough to use a standard bulletin board system.)

I wish I had taken the time to learn PHP better to make the script myself, but here I am begging for ideas and help! So do you have an idea on a suitable script for this?
