Unhappy Random Pictures

OK I know Im a blonde (hence the name) but I am kinda new to building sites.
Anyway I want to have 2 random pictures appear on my site side by side with a button underneath. The idea is that the visitor clicks on which picture is the best by clicking on the button underneath. The visitor's choice is recorded somehow and the results are displayed on another page. When the visitor clicks either button 2 new random pictures come up for the user to choose from and so on.
Hopefully that was understandable, but I got the idea from facethejury.com, who has it in 'matchups'. There you can vote for your favourite celebrities, sportsmen and women, cartoons, etc. I would like to do the same on my page with my friends pictures.
I am using geocities and all I have so far is 1 picture appearing each time the button is clicked and they come up in a specific order, so Im still quite far away from what I want.
I was told to try here as there might be a script that could do the job, but so far I haven't had any luck.
Any idea's for the dumbass??
Thanks A lot

Blondie,
Unfortunately there is no way to store the results unless you use a server side language such as PHP, Perl or ASP.
Geocities does not support these languages so you will need to buy a new domain name. Or, find someone to link (through iframes) to their site that does support these languages.
If you choose one of these options, I can make a script from PHP.
