I've been searching for a PHP script and so far haven't had any luck.

I need a user administrator area to add and delete users, reset password would be nice.

I need each user to have their own directory that the administrator can upload files to....upload via http would be nice but we can ftp if need be.

Each user needs to have access to their files in their directory and only those when they login (via HTTP only). The end users won't have experience with FTP. Short file description and then a link to the file is all that is needed to display.

The file repositories I've found have so many different options I'm afraid I would confuse the end user! I think a simple click this link login with your user id and password, then it takes them to a page with a list of description of the file and a link to that file.

IE:
January Report Click Here to download this file

For the FTP or HTTP upload part of your need you could try an Applet such as :

I'm looking for something exactly like this. I have a great login script I use, and a great file upload script, but I can't get them to work together to do as described above.

The admin needs to be able to create users, upload files (via http) visible only to that user. Users log in and see a list of their files and a link to download them - right?

Anyone have a script that will do this, or pointers for putting it together?
