best mailing list php script

I swear I have been searching for hours to find a decent mailing list script written in php. Either the install takes hours or the design and features are lacking. Anyone have any good suggestions?

I have good experiences with Octeth Email Manager Pro, which I've used for a client. It worked really good.

Re:

Try BMG or the one from Active Campaign. They are both nice. I bought both and work nice for me.

Strange, why are you looking for PHP mailing list manager. With PHP you could not send lage amount of messages, could not send mails buy sheduling and many more features could not make in mod_php.
I think the best mail managers is write on Perl. Try our Mail Manager http://www.hotcgiscripts.com/?c=acc-subscribe

ListMessenger, with the help of such open source projects as PHPMailer, PCLZip and PHPSniff, exceeds expectations as a well designed, easy to use and extremely robust mailing list management solution for any web site. ListMessenger is feature packed but because of its intuitive design remains simple enough so any administrator can quickly manage his or her own mailing list and send out important newsletters or information to their subscriber base.

I'm sorry. Could you please describe me how you will ListManager send 100 000 mails if time to send one message is 0.001 sec. Total time to send 100 sec. PHP time out on server is 20 sec?

Thank you.

ListMessenger uses a unique sending window to send out messages. The window's invisible frame refreshes, sending X number of messages, then waiting X number of seconds prior to sending more messages. It was designed not to time out as well as be adjustable. (Hence the X's above). Streams are planned for the PHP 4.3+ users.

Thanks to whomever it was that e-mailed me the link to this thread.

Ok. But if I close browser or turn off internet connection or it brakes - sending will stop.

And what about scheduling? If I want to start send messages every Monday at 3 AM so I should open browser and wait this time???

Thank you.
