My current stat software is very lousy (plesk-stat)... but I don't use it for much. I would like, however, to start tracking where my 404 errors are coming from. I can see how many requests of the 404 page there are, but I can't see how ppl are getting there. What's the best way to do this? Just write a php script that writes the desired information to a file? A quick google didn't find me the answer I'm really looking for, but I figured someone here might have one they use/like.

I made the mistake of installing Twatch on one of our servers a few months ago. Well, actually that wasn't the mistake. The mistake was showing it to my boss. He's like a crack "working girl" when it comes to stats. I can't plug Twatch enough. Oh... and it's free.

About all I can say about that package is WOW. That's an amazing logger for being free! I'll definatley try it out on a couple of my sites.
