PHP Download Manager

I have tried 2 different download managers, one of them i found using hotscripts (PHPATM). But when i installed, i found that it didnt like the newest version of php 4, and so it returned several errors (i know it didnt like the version, because my webhost admin made a script 4 months back and then when he upgraded he got very similar errors)
So. I am in search of a new download manager with at least these things:
  • As professional looking and coded as possible
  • Free
  • Customizable in style and in limits (eg: file size)
  • Multiple users that can register to upload
  • Register_globals doesnt have to be on
  • Admin panel
  • Don't have to register to download
  • Compatible with latest php 4
  • Mysql is allowed, i have plenty of databases

Of course this is like a script request, but after reading through that forum a little bit, i find that its more of "Please make me this script" rather than "Which one of these on hotscripts should i use"
I know they are there, i just want experiences and reccomendations, and the script doesnt have to be on hotscripts either.

Thanks in advance

Almost free? ¬_¬
Does that mean you want to put ads on my page? Sorry but i shall have my own ones soon. I will allow a copyright with a link back to your site though at the bottom of each page of the script.
Phaeilo, are your terms the same?
I want a well built one that is free and that i can modify the layout and styles.
I know they do exist, but none of them have worked so far so i ask for advice.
Also, my webhost admin made a single user script like this that uses a database, and he said that it could easily be made into multi user with signup and admin panel, but it is having issues with "the header was already sent etc" ever since the php upgrade.
Could anyone modify this for me? he is very busy with getting paid hosting sorted so he cant do that at the moment.

edit: chrille112, ive read around, and you have said basicly the same thing in every request. How can you deliver so many scripts at one time?

Hmmm, False advertising for sure, free means no cost, almost free shouldnt mean i should pay money.
FREE scripts only please, i don't want to pay money when my service is going to be free anyway

I would do it for free without any ads but with a little copyright at the bottom.
I think I'll need one week for coding this. Maybe you could mail me a design template.

Just curious, what version of phpATM, and what version of php were you having problems with? What were the specific problems you encountered?

Just curious, I'm pretty sure phpATM is the right app for a project I'm working on, so I'd like to know what problems I might run into...

Thanks a lot! a copyright is fine with a link back to your site eg:
Copyright 2005 <a href="yoursite">Phaeilo</a>
I wont give you the trouble of coding it if i can find something decent thats already made.

An example speaks 1000 word, My site: http://mirrage.dynamized.com/
Try downloading a file to get even more errors
This is installed properly (ive tried a reinstall) with the latest version of php 4 and latest of ATM. My WebAdmin said that it was because it isnt compatible with the latest version of 4, and he had similar problems when he upgraded php a 2 months back with a script he wrote.

QuiXplorer looks okay, what do you think needs to be modified?
