Ok first off, I am not sure if this goes here, but I'll ask.
I am looking for a script (preferably in PHP or Perl) that works as a htaccess client area manager. Also it should be able to have a log in form for the clients on my page, and this way be able to only get into the protected areas over my page, but on top of that be able to do EITHER of the 2 following things:
1) After the User logged in, and depending on his username and password, be sent to a personal area where the user can choose the directories or pages that he is permitted to view.
2) If above not possible, after user logged in, and again depending on his username and password be sent to his corresponding web page or directory.
The one point I am stressing is that the individual pages should not be available to be accessed by typing in the URL, and thus bypassing the log in. Using htaccess this should be possible, but then I would need the script in question to work with the htaccess files.
I hope I explained that right and I get the point accross.
Now finally:
Where could I find a script like that?
