Special document management

Hi,

Here's my case. I'm a member of an international commission. We will be probably over 10 persons working on this commission. The work will consist of writing one book with many different sections. Each member will have from time to time to work on this unique document. We will need to have the text editable by every member but stored in only one place to be sure to work on the same version. We will have to classify the different sections by name, date, and different other options.

What you be the application that would suit my need ??
