to fill in blanks on websites

Ok, I am not a techie etc. So, here it is as simple as I know how to say it.

I would like a script that is able to fill in the blanks on a website form. Example: I go to various websites that have the same blanks when asking for information.
Sort of like an AOL wallet or something.

Script that would go on my "desktop" etc.

I would like to enter the info into the script like---my name, my email, etc. Would like to be able to enter other info as well---be able to tell it what the website will ask.

These are usually websites that you fill in info---go to next page and fill in some more.....It varies some, but the info is almost the same.

I searched and all I see is articles about robot that go to sites and fill in info for malicious purposes etc.

I would like something sort of like that ==but not for malicious purposes.

I would also like very much if it was a script i could rename and/or put my name on it after tweaking it to do what i want it to.

Is there such a beast?

Thank you

Ok, well, I know of the Google Toolbar which has an AUTO-FILL feature. Also, if you want to go a step further, there's Robofill which encrypts your passwords and asks you for only one master one to unlock the rest.
I hope that helped,
