2 separate php scripts using same mysql auth

Hello, I hope I posted in correct board

2 separate php scripts using same mysql authentication.
My :

SMF 1.1rc2 + Tinyportal 0.8.6 + Almond Classifieds pro 5.05
I would love to figure out how to use smf member authentication for classifieds too, one login and register.
Classifieds is installed to a diff. db and domain. I can change that easily.
Thank you for any advice/help.
