New at Creating A Site for Youth Club Teams

First off, searched scripts on HotScripts for what I'm trying to build before posting. Found bits and pieces, but would like to ask if I'm missing something.

Looking at a portal-CMS type site with a forum, news & articles (rss aggregated feeds & authored), search (site & directory), google adsense with member signup. Is there something out of the box that I missed or do I need to integrate several scripts?

Most CMS's possess all of those features, except the Google AdSense which is usually available as a user-contributed plugin.
