I hope I am posting in right place. I have a site that is (Hopefully) going to be a Members Based Secured Site with an Affiliate Program. I offer Software, Videos, and an array of Web Development Tutorials and Educational Products.

I am low to no funds and have searched and searched HotScripts and other sites but I do not know exactly what it is I need. Is there any OpenSource Program Scripts that will help me? I saw many for Paid2Read and been there and do not want to go back. I want to keep my pricing low and have an Affiliate Program and my Products are MRR and PLR mainly so they can use and make money on.

Is there anyone out there that can help me? I have someone to install, just need the correct scripts to install, that are either free, or very cheap as I have little to no money. I was Promised a Webmaster Job on a Top Site and I made the suggestion to create Audio Ebooks for Kids and was fired. This is my dream and I realize I am fighting a losing battle...but I still have hope, so please if anyone can help me I would be deeply appreciative of your kindness and generosity. I am also Disabled and this PC is my only way to make money for me and my family, situation is critical but I am not seeking pity I am asking for help, advice, that I can use to ake this dream a reality! Please any advice would be helpful.

Its not really clear what you are looking for. Do you want an entire affiliate program manager or a shopping cart that is affiliate aware? Or do you just want a download program that will credit the download to an affiliate or track a download number in a database of some sort?

Are you hosting the websites for your affiliates or are you allowing them to post some html that you provide on their websites that will credit their account for any downloads originating from their sites?

I searched hotscripts, sourceforge.net, and freshmeat.net and found dozens of GPL'd affiliate management packages. Some looked very very good.

A few comments and suggestions about your site:

1. The blue pull away on your site is majorly annoying. It serves no purpose and makes it look like something is broken.

2. Tell more about yourself on the front page. Someone landing there for the first time wouldn't have any clue about what it is you do. Move the video control down and put more clear instructions for its use in a prominent place.

3. If you are offering software and training you are going to need a more professional appearance. People won't buy or associate with someone on the web they don't trust. Your site gives off a less than trustworthy vibe. More like, "Pay us your sign on fee and let the headaches begin". I'm not trying to be critical, just pointing out what I see.

4. Check the links on your site. The nettle ezine link seems broken. There were a couple of others as well.

5. You are missing out on search engine help by not putting text on your pages. A search engine can't cross reference a flash video to someone doing a search for "training videos". Put text on your products page.

6. That adland pro link is misleading. If its an advertisement that you get paid for put it in a context where it "Looks" somewhat like an ad. If you get paid for traffic you send there then that points out a cheesy web presence and no one will want to deal with you.

The web is based on trust. Trust is based on the "appearance" of competence, conscience, ethics, and security.
