Hey all, new here, and am posting because i am looking for a news article script to integrate into my website. There are some specific features i would like it to have, so rather than trying out many different scripts, i thought I would post the question in hopes that other members can suggest a script that they have used before that offers these. Heres what I am looking for:

1. Users can create an account and login to post their own articles including pictures.
2. Articles must be pre-aproved by the administrator before they are launched on the site.
3. Must have a page that lists all past articles with thumbnails and possibly be searchable
4. Must be easily customizable to reflect the current look of my website
5. Must be able to insert my own ads into article pages
6. Must have a feature where other members can post comments on articles submitted.
7. Must be free (or relatively cheap)

It would also be cool if there was a way to list current articles in a small section of my homepage that was automatically updated as new ones are posted. I have also been considering upgrading my proboards forum on my website to a forum that is run on my own site, so a forum feature (that uses the same user profiles as the News script) would be a plus, but not necessary. I would prefer the script to be in PHP so LMK if anyone has any good recomendations

It's bad manners to use your 1 post on a forum as a request and then post a shopping list of features. Normally, cutenews would be great but requires a lot of modifications to reach what your trying to pull off. phpnuke/postnuke have the features, but it's a beast to install and configure, but it does offer integrated forum support.

Maybe someone else will be more specific, but good luck.

Yeah, I guess it is quite a large "shopping list". Being able to put ads into the pages isn't really a high priority.
