Try everyauction.info for an auction script. I know the guy that runs the site and he is very helpful and generous with customization. Tell him I sent you!!!

Um. if the public doesn't like how it looks, why not change the way it looks?

What do you mean "with the way that it looks..." When I mentioned customization, I was talking about new features and functions for auction-based scripts. Anyhow, I believe I lead the OP in the right direction as you were the only one to reply

sheesh curb, a bit defensive aren't you? Ronny said the pubic didn't like the way the site looked. What I was getting was that if the public didn't like they way the site looked, why not just change the look to something the public did like, instead of changing the function of the website.

After all, if he changes it to an auction site, there is still no guarantee that the public will like how the site looks. The public didn't complain about it being a classified ads site.

Call me dumb but the customer is always right. If they don't like red apples, it would make more sense to sell green or yellow apples instead of getting rid of all the apples to sell oranges.

From experience, when you change a product, you loose the customers that come to you for that product. Right now Ronnie has apples (classifieds), with a look that they don't like. If he starts selling oranges (auctions) instead, it's more likely that he will loose the apple customers.

Before you send away the classifie customers I'd try changing the look first. If he really wanted to capitalize, he'd open an auction sites and sell apples and oranges.

Actually, I thought you were referring to me when you mentioned *customization*... I see now what and who you were referring to. Don't take offense, ALL is well
