Hi

I require a script for our website where users can upload files via FTP up online and be able to view a list of the files uploaded where they can then download them.

Any help would be great thanks

Are you looking to restrict users/filetypes or anything else? Codango has a few upload/download scripts that my work off the getgo for you. if you're handy enough, you could always adapt one of those to your needs pretty easily...

Check out http://codango.com/php/dir/component...ioli/uploaddo/ for some file upload/download scripts and http://codango.com/php/dir/webapps/websitem/filemana/ for some general file management scripts and have a look at whats out there...a custom solution may be best depending on how you want to implement your script...

what do you have in mind as the end goal of the uploads???

Form uploads are usually HTTP downloading, not FTP. That's kinda the whole point of FTP clients...

What's more is that FTP usually has no protection for enctypes.

As an alternative, I would suggest a file management system. I have one that I can set up for you to see and it allows you to do all sorts of usefull things like block enctypes, restrict file size, make directories world readable or non-browsable.... Plus the admin area allows you master control so you can delete other user's files if they violate your agreement or do something illegal, like serve viruses.
