goddddd..does anyone know how to add a shopping cart to a website?

im currently making an online business and NEED a shopping cart for my online hard-goods..Ive tried zencart and paypal but i couldnt figure out how to add them..id prefer a free one so i can save money, but can anyone help me out?

paypal shopping cart is just html code embed isnt it? with zencart, it's a separate page i believe. What is your made out of

it is just a HTML? dont i need like the system or whatever so that i can add to cart and stuff, or is it smart enough to do that on its own? i used Site build It...

my site is takaproducts.com if you wanted to look for yourself..

If your not a programmer, you might have trouble updating/using/modifying the paypal shopping cart system. It works, but you really should know what your doing when it comes to taking people's money.

I'd stick with using some 3rd partying ecommerce script like zencart. What was the problem with zencart?

i just dont know how to set it up..i downloaded it but i have no clue where to go from there..can someone give me a good step by step process in adding it to my site please? that would help me out a ton!

It's a standalone script. The integration happens when you pull certain pieces of it into your site, but overall your going to have it as a subfolder to your site and redirect users to it when they want to buy something.

As for setting it up, read the documentation. There's a simple install.txt if your in a hurry, or the docs folder has some html docs to help too.

hi, do you want to put it into a website? Or a standalone version? You could also use paypal simple add the code for your button into the website.
