Can anyone tell me what php script suits my requirement ? I need a php script where it can update a file for me based on the date.

I have for example : slang001.html, slang002.html, slang003.html

I hope to insert a script into my index page where it can update the slang001.html on the first day and automatically changes into slang002.html on the following day ....... and so on.

I am tired of updating my " slang of the day " on my index page every day.

do you have every slang thing in a divernt html file and just want it to change every day? then you could let your script in your index.php get the server time and then look at the day and if the day is like 1,5 ,10 then include slang1.html if day 2,4,.... then include slang2.html and so on

I agree with G G Dart. You could also make a little script to upload a new file, when you want to add new content in your slang-file.

Or you could upload the file with ftp. When you do that, I guess you'll need a script to renew the info used to determine what day it is (to change the name of your slang-file).
