Mac PHP Script Security Scanner - Is there One?!?

Hi all....

First post and I guess I am showing my lack of programming skills right out of the gate but I am a designer and businessman who is honestly trying to fifure out all the code stuff.

The question I have is let's say you have a folder of PHP scripts and wordpress plug-ins and you want to check them for anything out of the ordinary, malicious, or just plain wrong. IS there a Mac tool that will do this? If not is there a Windows app or something I could run through Wordpress on the website to check the integrity of all these PHP files?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Do you mean something like a virus scanner?

You'll have to define malicious for us: a malicious code can be a code that removes a file from your server, but the same code can also be valid in certain scripts. A code that takes more than 30 seconds to process is out of the ordinary, but they exist, and are not always malignant...
