I've been searching for this a long time, but can't find anything, so I ask here.
A lightweight script which allows people to register and edit a profile. The data should be safed as flatfile HTML. Maybe php, some anti-spam measures, perhaps a chance to list acc. to preset categories, or randomly generated interest-/alias-listing (for links to work statically on Freenet).
Problem on my side is I can't afford much, more like occasional donation/maintenance. It's for a human rights networking site where I want to give people a chance to find others. - On the web currently there's no special place for unpolitical ones who just came in a bad situation. Most directory scripts I've seen had too many features, so would distract visitors. I'd like to build a site like in the 90s, where people tell just their story and what they really want themselves, without ideology/political association; few uploaded pictures, fine-tuned interest fields so that one can work together. Of course that's a simple HTML form, I'd need a minimalistic script to save the data and build bridge pages to link the profiles.
Thanks in advance for any hints if such a thing exists or parts/how to get there. =)
