Hi everyone just joined the forum hoping to get some advice and help on setting up a new price comparision site .

My site will be slighty differnt from the ordinary site .I want to be giving customers the price comparision of companies specilised products.

I need help with what scripts i should use and where i can get them funds are not too good at the moments so your help would greatly appriciated.

Wow, i came to the forum today to ask a very similar script!

In my site idea, the 'sellers' would come to list their products, being able to pick from dropdown boxes the details of what they offer, and of course the prices.

Visitors to the website would be allowed to browse the listing, as well as hopefully search based on criteria they input.

I'm working on finding an example, but not may sites seem to offer this kind of thing, for any product.

EDIT: AHA! This is almost exactly what i'm looking for, but with the ability for users to submit the information!
Plus of course, my site will have nothing to do with SVN service providers, lol!

since i cant edit old posts, i guess i'l have to bump this.

If somebody could just tell me what the name of that type of script is, i'm willing to go find something similar and edit it to my design. I just don't know what to call this. There are lots of "shopping cart" scripts with the searchability i'm looking for, but shopping carts aren't at all what i'm looking for. This will just be an advertising site.
