Yes, I fully understand and appreciate what you are saying.
As I said, I was once there myself..
I posted at EA regarding this.
I called those who have dealt with you that are happy with your support to come to your defense.
I also called those who say they cant get support to voice their opinion.
As I said at EA, there is absolutely no malicious intent here.

You should have enough skills to be able to write your own full version, I encourage you to give it a try. You will be more than happy with the results as you will only improve what you have now. And it feels great to know that you do own the code 100%.
You might want to give Mysql a whirl too.
My life and abilities have changed drastically for the better since I went that way.
Scripting takes half the effort and it runs 1000% better..
A forum is a great idea too.
I dont get a lot of action on mine, but its there.
Wdic has a nice new forum available, resembles EA forum.
Get the download url at the EA forums.
I modified mine to be just forums without auction.
See it here

Here is a basic search for bidflux at EA if it helps you:

I will find a couple of the other posts that I was talking aout that didnt use the word bidflux..
Again, Good Luck To You..
