I am currently writing an auction with complete backend for maintaining news, help files, user admins, etc. The scripts are in excess of 52,000 lines over 216 pages in 12 foldes. At present payment methods can be added or deleted, but it does not have a payment gateway. If money is right I may be prepared to create this. The site outpaces ebay easilly and is almost all XHTML compliant code. I may update some of the earlier stuff I wrote. I do have someone interested in purchasing the entire script with rights, but until he confirms its up for offers. I was intending to market the script on a shareware basis. Contact me on morpheus.100@virgin.net.

Hi I am a professional php developer with over 8 years of programming experience. ;-)

I have already coded an auction script in php. I would be interested in selling it to you.

Please contact me at blacknaga[at]hotmail.com so that we can discuss this some more.

LOL, Whatever guy..
By bland I meant featureless..
Mine has all the features an auction should have including full accounting and an admin panel that does basically everything.
The free version only uses a simple user donated accounting program.
The commercial version has my own fulll accounting/admin panel that has everything..
Let me know when phpauction has that ok...

Wheres yours...

Wow, what is it with people these days? I really hope this was just some kind of joke, because you're only making a fool of yourself.

For those who are interested, I ( Joel Holbert; designer of BidFlux Auction software) took a short leave of absence beginning on May 31st 2004 and arrived home on June 8th 2004. The thread starter above, Mr. Christopher Foust, purchased a copy of BidFlux v1.1 on June 3rd via PayPal while I was away. Approximately six hours later, he began to spew harassing comments across various places on the Internet in hopes of ruining my business due to the simple fact that he had ordered my script while I was away. Not only that, but he also filed complaints with PayPal within days. On the night of June 8th when I arrived home I reviewed the orders to find that there was a new complaint filed as well as a charge back. After trying to contact Mr. Foust the next morning I had only received threats via email to refund his money or my business would be ruined.

I then simply replied that there is absolutely no problem with sending a refund due to the fact that the client had yet to receive the files and then immediately sent a refund via his choice of payment processor, PayPal. I then tried to describe the scenario for the past week and inform him of the fact that I was simply unavailable to complete the transaction. I have yet to hear back from Mr. Foust after sending him a refund on June 9th (the day after I arrived home).

If anyone sees where I did anything wrong, please point it out. Thanks...

As for Mr. Foust, if you have anything at all to back up your false accusations, please do so. I really don't see how you could make any bigger of a fool out of yourself the way it is.

Been there

Lol, happened to me ONCE too.
I went on vacation for a week the year before last during my normal "slow season"..
Well I recieved 3 orders while I was gone.
They didnt know I was away of course and became concerned after a day or two of not hearing from me. I had 3 chargebacks and unhappy people when I got back.
Fortunately I was able to make everybody happy upon explanation and saved all 3 sales. Also fortunate that they hadnt already posted like this all over the net.

What I learned is that if I am away to say so in email that is sent upon order and also I post it on the site itself that orders will not be processed until the date I will be returning and that I am away..
I also find a way to check my email every couple days while I am away.

When somebody pays for something and they dont hear from you for a couple days they get scared and think that they were ripped off, especially if they cant get an email response either..

Live and learn. Hopefully you can rectify your current situation as well..

Good Luck
