[Quantumlight]

Hi

I am not an expert on web design but I know the basics.

As I now designing my new website for the company I want to make my clients to get there files and upload files thru our website on to our FTP that I am thinking of Hosting thru a MacMini.
I want each one of my clients to have there own account with there own login.

So what Im not really know how to do and as secure as possible to make the login on my site still keeping them on my site accessing my FTP.

Is it PHP or Java?

As things to have it is that I want to have an upload bar that shows more or less how long time it takes to upload to it. Selecting several files to upload/download.

Any ideas where to start. I have been looking on this site and on other places on the web but not really sure what to look for.
