Home web server

I would like to set my home pc up as a web server.

I have done this before using dynDNS and I got one of those free subdomains.

Does anyone know how I could set up my pc as a web server and be able to create top level domain names?

Is this possible to do for free?

Thanks.

The dynDNS site also contains information on how to use their DNS service with your own domain.

ianbrind,

Yeah, like mab said, they offer this service. However, make sure you're securing your home pc, as you might be bringing some unwanted attention to yourself.
