Set network drive as root

I have recently purchased a network drive. I have created a shared folder "web" and assigned a drive letter to it 'Q'

I went into my httpd file and changed the documentroot to "Q:/" and the directory to "Q:"

Now apache won't start. If I change it back to my old drive letter it works.

What am I missing?
