Don't know about the PowerEdgeT110 servers, but you should get a dedicated server, or a VPS. Maybe, if I were you, I'd start with a VPS, 'cause they're cheaper. And if your site grows as expected, I'd move to a dedicated server.

I got my VPS over at Web Hosting Services, Virtual Private Servers, Secure Backup Service, and Dedicated Servers by HostICan

I have no idea about Dell PowerEdgeT110 and the Dell PowerEdgeT310. There is number of hosting companies such as Goodady, dreamhost, hostgator etc. You can visit these sites and compare their offered plan and then choose according your budgets.

I think its not needed that you look for a special specifications. Evey powerful dedicated server helps and fits your need to have a fast website without facing problems.

You could also consider Cloud platform as it allow you to increase your capacity when you growth in the future without need to change to a new physical box.

I dont think that you need a dedicated server for starting, unless youre going to spend a couple of thousands in advertisment or youre planning to drive a couple of hundred thousands visits instantly.

A good vps with 2gb guaranted RAM and 3GB burstable memory will do the job.

If you want a dedi server I would go with an Intel I7 or a Quad Xeon server !
